Annual Christmas Drive
Celebrating The Holidays By Giving Food, Clothing And Gifts To Poor People And Their Children
There's no better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ than by giving to the poor. That's why we work with volunteers to bring food, clothing, and gifts to people who desperately need them, including the sick and the elderly.
Every year we hand out hundreds of well-stocked food baskets. People begin signing up for them in October before the weather turns cold.
We collect gifts from generous contributors. Then we invite our neighbors to choose something for themselves and their families. People line up around the block, waiting for their turn.
We also work hard to bring toys into one of the poorest areas in town. After all, we know that the holidays can be a heartbreaking time for parents who cannot afford gifts for the children they love.
Every year, our annual Christmas drive helps thousands of people. But we always run out of food and gifts, because there are so many people who are hungry and homeless.
With your help, we can make the holidays brighter for one of the poorest neighborhoods in Western New York.
