Director of Social Work
The Director of Social Work coordinates services and programs provided to guests and visitors to the House of Mercy (HOM). Coordinates and supervises HOM case managers/social workers, outside/collaborative service providers, and student interns. This person is responsible for social work services for visitors and overnight guests from intake to exit, with primary focus assisting and fostering independence and moving guests/visitors to appropriate hosuing options and other needed services. Also provides direct case management/direct care services to guests and visitors.
Shelter Monitor
The Shelter Monitor works with Shelter Managers, Shelter Monitors, and other designated staff and volunteers to oversee the smooth operation of the overnight emergency shelter.
